Streaking Sea Dogs Win Another One, 3-0
|
In a low-scoring contest, Charleston pitcher Andy Weatherholt was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-0 win. Matt Schapp earned the save for Charleston, his 3rd of the year. Charleston has run its win streak to 8 straight.
Tim Hutchison, who is on pace for 132 RBI this season, took San Francisco hurler James Dobyns deep in the top of the first. His 2-run home run put the Sea Dogs on top, 2-0. In all, Hutchison had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Andy showed what he's made of," said Charleston manager Chad Hart.
