The Augusta Capitols picked up a win at Emeralds Ballpark, courtesy of Omar Sotelo. The right-hander helped his team stop the Vermont Milkmen, 1-0. Sotelo got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. He allowed no runs. The win boosted Augusta to 76-64.

Augusta used a timely hit from David Erb to get the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Capitols ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Every play was important. Every out was important," said Capitols manager Joel Braddock.
