Frederick Stars in 10-7 Bombardiers Win
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Sonoma Scorpions and Cincinnati Bombardiers get after it.
Sam Frederick was a vital contributor to the 10-7 Cincinnati victory over Sonoma. The Bombardiers right fielder was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Clark Estes got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings.
Frederick broke a deadlock in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he hit a run-scoring single, putting Cincinnati up, 7-6.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Cincinnati manager Nick Pauli.
Cincinnati now owns a record of 76-63.
