Vermont Milkmen starter Chris Fuller turned in a top-notch performance against the Hamilton Bulldogs at Emeralds Ballpark. The result was a win for the Milkmen, 3-0. Fuller, now 3-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 4, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Michael Hatten closed it out for Vermont, earning his 20th save.
Tony Perez had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Vermont. He came through with a 2-run single to put Vermont in front, 3-0.
Vermont manager Mike Barriga commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
The win gives the Milkmen a record of 48-90.
