The Sonoma Scorpions beat the Vail Tigercats, 7-6, in part because of shortstop Mario Aguiluz. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 times. The game-ending blow was delivered by Adam Robertson in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old left-handed pitcher Robert Hendricks to win it for Sonoma and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Robertson said.
