Dallas shortstop Jay Pearson helped his team beat the Fountain Hills 23ers, 8-1. Pearson, who finished 4th in the AC in wins above replacement with 6.4 in 2024, went 3 for 4 for the Dragons. With the win, the Dragons have a record of 34-42.

Dallas used a clutch at-bat from Carlos Rodriguez to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Dragons ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Things went our way," said Pearson.
