Behind the hitting of Devin Terry, the Stockton Ragin Cajuns defeated the Miami Boll Weevils, 3-2. Terry went 1-2 with a home run and a walk for the Ragin Cajuns. Stockton reliever Bobby Bierman picked up the win, while Mike Mudge took the loss for Miami. Stockton is in 4th place in the Western AA Central Division with a record of 76-59.

Brett Tobey was 1 for 2 for Stockton. The 25-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Mike Mudge. It was his 37th RBI of the season.

"Coulda, shoulda, woulda," said Miami manager Bill Murtha. "We had our chances and didn't cash in."
