Hamilton had no answer for Sonoma Scorpions hurler Greg Amos, who overwhelmed Bulldogs hitters as the Scorpions coasted to victory, 7-0. The winner was Amos. He threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Chris Reed. Today's win puts Sonoma at 75-60, while Hamilton falls to 81-54.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Adam Robertson? The Sonoma left fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Scorpions on top, 3-0. For the game, Robertson had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Robertson said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
