Miami Picks Up Another L
|
The Cornwall Royals called upon starter Angelo Quezada, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Miami Boll Weevils, 6-2. With the win, the Royals sit at 82-53.
Nate Pratt had a big 2-run double for the Royals in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Cornwall leading 4-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Curt Cramer and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Royals ahead, 6-2.
"Angelo's a trooper," said Cornwall manager Jon Williams. "He always gives it all he's got."
