Bulldogs Win at Miami, 4-1
|
Hamilton Bulldogs pitcher Edwardo Rodriguez was in fine form, leading his team past the Miami Boll Weevils, 4-1. Colby Kelly sewed up the save, his 6th. The last-place Boll Weevils have lost 5 consecutive games.
Hamilton used a clutch at-bat from Joel Angulo to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bulldogs ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I like what I saw today," said Hamilton manager Tony Velez, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
