Cavalry Get Hard-Earned Win
The Miami Boll Weevils wasted an impressive 6-inning effort from starter Jon Caruso, falling, 1-0, to the St. Louis Cavalry at Ballpark of Miami. With the win, St. Louis goes to 54-78, while the Boll Weevils fall to 56-76.

St. Louis needed the clutch hitting of Ben Kaatz to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cavalry on top, 1-0. For the game, Kaatz had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
