With Late Score, Tigers Beat Scorpions

The London Tigers had to overcome a fine effort from Sonoma pitcher Terence Rodda to win, 4-3, at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. Rodda went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Jay Yeiser earned the save for London, his 19th of the year. The setback makes Sonoma 74-60.
London used the clutch hitting of Corey Ramirez to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Tigers ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"If you chase it, you need to get it," said London skipper Jose Torres.
