Scorpions Drop Tigers, 6-5
|
The Sonoma Scorpions besoiled an otherwise fine performance by London designated hitter David Domina by beating the Tigers, 6-5, at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. Domina was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Jason Burget, who leads the W-AA in saves with 28, nailed down the save. Sonoma now has a record of 74-58 with the win.
Second Baseman Justin Blaylock made an impact for Sonoma, when he swatted a 2-run triple off Ryan Hadder in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Blaylock went 2-4 with a triple and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3.
"Feels good to get the job done," Blaylock said after the game.
