Stockton Dispatched, 7-2, by Cincinnati
|
The Cincinnati Bombardiers knocked off the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 7-2, at Ballpark of Cincinnati. Richard Childs was a big reason Cincinnati won. The left fielder was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. The Bombardiers, at 72-60, lead by one game in their division.
With two out in the bottom of the first, Sam Frederick put Cincinnati in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Bombardiers went on to win the ballgame.
Frederick said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
