The Stockton Ragin Cajuns went home winners at Ballpark of Stockton, thanks in large part to starter Jose Chacon. Chacon stifled the Cornwall Royals, enabling Stockton to grab the 5-1 win. The 5th-place Ragin Cajuns sport a record of 63-71.

The Ragin Cajuns got a big at-bat from right fielder Mike Coker. For the game, Coker went 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 23rd home run of the season gave Stockton a 2-0 lead.

"Jose was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Stockton manager Jeffrey Troke.
