Jones Leads Tigers to Win
The London Tigers defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs, 7-3, at Mariachis Ballpark. London was led by 26-year old catcher John Jones, who went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. With the win, London pushed its record to 80-52.

Had Jones not come through in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Jones hit a 2-run single. The Tigers never looked back after taking the 5-3 lead.
