The Vail Tigercats locked up a win at Ballpark of Oklahoma City, knocking off the London Tigers, 4-3. On the mound for Vail was right-hander Danny Cusack. He played a major role in the triumph. Earning his 20th save of the year was Ken Guzman. The third-place Tigers dropped to 71-61.
Vail used a clutch hit from Brad Bull to snatch the win. The pinch hitter belted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Tigercats ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
In postgame remarks, Bull applauded his team's "business-like approach."
