Bombardiers Get Hard-Earned Win
Though he had a stellar game, Matt Tindall could not prevent his team, the Augusta Capitols, from losing, 5-4, to the Cincinnati Bombardiers. Tindall went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Clark Estes came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. With the win, Cincinnati raised its record to 71-60.

The decisive blow was delivered by Richard Childs in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Max Hercules to win the game for Cincinnati. The home crowd went nuts.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Childs said.
