Flores Delivers Walk-Off Win for Firecats
The Vermont Milkmen got a superb performance from pitcher Vance Lancaster, but the Hialeah Firecats still won the game, 4-3. Lancaster threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The Firecats improved their record to 51-78 by beating Vermont.

Francisco Flores was the walk-off hero for Hialeah. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Firecats center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Flores. "And not try to do too much."
