The Sonoma Scorpions defeated the Cincinnati Bombardiers by the score of 11-7. Collin Mays starred for Sonoma, going 4-for-5 with 3 home runs. The win for the Scorpions lifted their record to 72-56.

With Sonoma leading 5-3 in the top of the fourth, Mays hit a curveball from Lance Goecker for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Scorpions ahead, 9-3.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Sonoma manager Keith Young.
