Miami got a valiant performance from pitcher Juan Rosales, but it wasn't enough to beat the Hialeah Firecats. Hialeah won the game, 4-2. Rosales threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. Corey Baker came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 5-2. The victory makes Hialeah 38-88.

Hialeah used the clutch hitting of Brian Myers to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Firecats ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Myers said.
