The Vail Tigercats and Sonoma Scorpions played an entertaining game for Ballpark of North Richland Hills patrons.

The Vail Tigercats scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Sonoma Scorpions at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. Vail pitcher Rich Mack held his own in the contest. The 4th-place Tigercats improved to 72-56.

Mack allowed 1 run over 7.1 innings. He also racked up 7 strikeouts.

In postgame comments to the Vail Herald, Mack said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
