Vermont Beats Cincinnati, 9-0
Vermont starter Steve Quintero pitched well against the Cincinnati Bombardiers at Emeralds Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 9-0. The loss makes Cincinnati 57-68.

Bubba Austin had a big 3-run home run for the Milkmen in the bottom of the third inning. With Vermont leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Eddie Sarabia and swatted a home run to left. It was his 5th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Milkmen ahead, 4-0.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Vermont manager Steve Reid.
