Miami Loses, 6-4, to Hialeah in 11

The Hialeah Firecats electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.
Hialeah shortstop Andy Gatz contributed significantly to his team's 6-4 win over the Miami Boll Weevils. Gatz went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Firecats. Hialeah pitcher Rich Zavala earned the win, hiking his record to 2-3. Jim Unknown suffered the loss.
In the bottom of the 11th, with the score tied, Gatz hammered a 2-run home run to win it for Hialeah.
