The Hialeah Firecats stopped the Cornwall Royals, 5-4, at Firecats Ballpark. The Firecats got a big game from Eric Brewer, who went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Brewer contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Hialeah in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 4-2, Brewer took a cutter from David Tirado and stroked the home run to left-center. His 20th home run of the season allowed the Firecats to leap in front, 5-4.
