The Vail Tigercats locked up a win at Vail Grounds, knocking off the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 5-1. On the mound for Vail was left-hander Joel Daniels. He played a major role in the triumph. Daniels, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The Tigercats raised their record to 63-61.
