The London Tigers defeated the Miami Boll Weevils, 4-0, in Western AA action at Ballpark of Miami. London pitcher Willie Garcia had a standout performance. The win gives London a season record of 84-40.

London used the hitting of Brian Cartwright to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Tigers on top, 3-0. For the game, Cartwright had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
