Bulldogs Get 2-1 Win Versus London
The Hamilton Bulldogs downed the London Tigers, 2-1, at Mariachis Ballpark. Stellar pitching by Brice Shine had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who is tied for 5th in the W-AA with a 1.10 WHIP, handcuffed his opponent all game. The winner was Shine. He threw 6.1 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Antonio Alvarez. Hamilton is now 72-49, London 73-48.

Nate Lombardi drove in one run for Hamilton. The 22-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Antonio Alvarez. It was his 29th RBI of the season.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Lombardi.
