The Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 4-1, at Ballpark of Stockton. Starting pitcher Bobby Carrero was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The Bulldogs now own a record of 62-55.

Carrero, who dominated for Hamilton, earned the victory to move to 6-10. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 7.1 innings, while striking out 7. Stockton batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Bobby is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Hamilton manager Emmanuel Montano.
