Cavalry Pick Up 4-1 Win Over Hialeah
|
The losses keep piling up for the Hialeah Firecats.
The St. Louis Cavalry went home winners at Firecats Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter John Bonnell. Bonnell stifled the Hialeah Firecats, enabling St. Louis to grab the 4-1 win. Andrew Braden notched his 2nd save in 3 chances.
In the top of the second inning, second baseman Tony Hernandez had a 2-run triple for St. Louis. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Cavalry on top, 2-0.
"John pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said St. Louis manager Leo Medina.
The losses continue to add up for Hialeah, having now dropped 8 straight.
