Hamilton turned a good effort from starter Jon Escobar into a win over the Miami Boll Weevils at Ballpark of Miami. The Bulldogs won the game, 5-1. Hamilton used the timely hitting of Nick Schultz to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bulldogs on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Hamilton manager Emmanuel Montano.
