Scorpions Pick Up 3-2 Road Win Over Hialeah
In a low-scoring contest between the Sonoma Scorpions and the Hialeah Firecats, David Morris was the X factor. The Sonoma left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The first-place Scorpions lifted their record to 77-40.

Humberto Castano, who is tied for 8th in the W-AA in triples with 3, had a direct impact on the outcome. Castano contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the second inning to put Sonoma up, 1-0.

"The other side played a good game," said Hialeah manager John Costa. "You tip your cap to them."
