Emeralds Ballpark was the site for Western AA action featuring the Vail Tigercats and Vermont Milkmen.

Vail had no answer for 29-year old right-handed pitcher Elias Holguin. The Vermont Milkmen starter stymied Tigercats hitters, helping the Milkmen cruise to victory, 7-0. Holguin, the winner, moves to 5-10. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks.

The Milkmen got a gift in the bottom of the fifth inning, when they were leading 2-0. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Chris Scott reached on an error by the SS, driving in 2 runs. It made the score 4-0, Vermont.

"Elias's as tough as he is talented," said Vermont manager Mike Barriga.

With the win, the Milkmen are 37-79.
