The Capitol Dome was host to some intense drama.

The Augusta Capitols beat the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 5-4, in 10 innings. Augusta pitcher and Huehuetan, Mexico, native Max Hercules led the way. The first-place Capitols have a record of 71-43.

In the bottom of the tenth, Derek Vance had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring sacrifice fly to center off Stockton pitcher Shissho Matsuno.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Vance said in his postgame press conference.
