The Boll Weevils grabbed a win, 7-1, at Ballpark of Oklahoma City, overcoming a fine effort from London pitcher Larry Bute. Bute went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The loss makes London 71-45.

The Boll Weevils got a gift in the top of the third inning, when they were leading 2-1. With one out and the bases loaded, Jorge Romo reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-1, Miami.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Romo.
