The London Tigers beat the Miami Boll Weevils at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. The final score was 8-3, in favor of London. Alberto Torres led the way, going 1-for-2 for the home team. London starter Lee Morgan was credited with the win after throwing 119 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 6-4. The Tigers, at 57-58, inhabit 4th place in the Western AA Central Division.
With London leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Torres hit a fastball from Dan Gragnani for a grand slam home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 7-2.
