A good performance from catcher Sergio Camero helped the Sonoma Scorpions defeat the Cornwall Royals, 6-3. Camero went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Scorpions. Rob Savo picked up the win in relief for Sonoma, while Terence Rodda took the loss. Cornwall has now lost 4 straight.

Camero had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch sinker from Terence Rodda, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Scorpions a 6-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Camero.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Camero.
