The Vail Tigercats picked up a win at Ballpark of Stockton, dropping the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 6-3. Aaron Daniels, who is tied for 8th in the W-AA in wins with 9, was the difference-maker. Justin Brownlee earned the save for Vail, his 4th. The third-place Tigercats have won 4 in a row.
Vail used the clutch hitting of R.J. Cashman to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Tigercats the lead, 5-2. For the game, Cashman had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
Cashman told a Vail News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
