Vermont first baseman Tony Perez had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Cincinnati Bombardiers, 5-1. Michael Hatten picked up the save, his 17th. Vermont, with the win, climbs to 35-78.

Vermont used a clutch at-bat from Chris Scott to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Milkmen ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Perez.
