In a close game at King George Park, the Cornwall Royals edged the Cincinnati Bombardiers, 5-4, in 12 innings. Cornwall designated hitter Jeff DeLong stood apart with his performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Royals sport a record of 42-71.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 12th, an error by the Bombardiers allowed the Royals to score the winning run.
