The Hialeah Firecats defeated the Augusta Capitols, 13-7, at The Capitol Dome. Eric Brewer, who leads the W-AA with a .568 slugging percentage, was a standout performer for Hialeah. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 2 he knocked in. Hialeah sits in 5th place in the Western AA Coastal Division at 46-65.

Brewer got the Firecats off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Brewer said.
