Cornwall turned a good effort from starter David Tirado into a win over the London Tigers at King George Park. The Royals won the game, 4-1. Bubba Byrne locked down his 28th save. The 4th-place Tigers now sit at 56-57.

Hector Robledo cracked a home run off John Brown in the bottom of the third. His 2-run blast put the Royals on top, 2-0. In all, Robledo had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

Robledo attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
