Cornwall Royals starter Angelo Quezada turned in an exceptional performance against the London Tigers at King George Park, resulting in a Cornwall win, 2-1. The win makes Cornwall 69-43.
Adam Mathis came through for Cornwall when he hit a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a two-strike fastball to left-center field, staking his team to a 2-1 lead.
"Angelo was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Cornwall manager Jon Williams.
