Despite a great performance by St. Louis designated hitter Dan Chambers, the Augusta Capitols defeated the Cavalry by the score of 9-4 at The Capitol Dome. Chambers went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The first-place Capitols, at 63-45, now lead their division by 5 games.

Nate Yuck was 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Augusta. The 27-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Zhi-gang Loong. It was his 16th walk of the season.
