Hamilton Beats Sonoma in Extra Innings
The Hamilton Bulldogs had to overcome a big game from Sonoma right fielder Omar Perez to leave Ballpark of North Richland Hills with a victory. And they did, winning, 8-6, in 10 innings. Perez slugged 2 home runs. Pat Nicholas picked up the win in relief. Kasey Acree took the loss for Sonoma. Picking up the save was Ryan Middaugh, his 3rd.

Hamilton used a timely hit from Jose Hernandez to get the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Bulldogs ahead, 8-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Hernandez told a Hamilton Observer reporter that he felt "euphoric" after the win.

The win boosted Hamilton to 65-44.
