Tigercats Bump Off Ragin Cajuns, 8-5
|
Stockton first baseman Devin Terry had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-5, to Vail at Ballpark of Stockton. Terry went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Jeremy Dawson picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 6-3. The Tigercats now own a record of 59-49.
With two out in the top of the first, Ricky Lopez put Vail in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Tigercats went on to win the ballgame.
