|
Sonoma Scorpions starter Rob Stech pitched a strong game against the Stockton Ragin Cajuns at Ballpark of North Richland Hills, leading the Scorpions to victory, 6-3. Stech got the win, improving to 10-7. He gave up 3 hits and walked 2 over 5.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. With the win, the Scorpions improved to 72-36.
Sonoma second baseman Jason Parisi contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a splitter to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 24th hit of the season and put the Scorpions ahead, 4-1.
"We've got a great group of guys," Stech said, "and we're having fun right now."
