Josh Fitzgerald knocked in 3 runs to help Hamilton beat Vermont, 9-2. The Brockton, Massachusetts native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. Justin Weil was credited with the save for Hamilton, his 5th of the season. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Bulldogs.

Fitzgerald contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Hamilton in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Fitzgerald took a slider from Brian Webb and stroked the home run to center. His 24th home run of the season allowed the Bulldogs to leap in front, 2-1.
