Doll Helps Stockton Cruise to 10-2 Win
Luke Doll was instrumental in his team's 10-2 triumph over the London Tigers. The first baseman went 4-4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Stockton Ragin Cajuns. Mike Walsh got the win, improving to 8-6. He held the Tigers to 1 run on 3 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Martin Moreno notched his 3rd save of the season.

Stockton used a clutch at-bat from Vince Austin to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Ragin Cajuns ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said London manager Jose Torres.

The victory gives Stockton a record of 62-43.
