The St. Louis Cavalry went down to defeat to Henry Drake and his Sonoma teammates. The final score was 4-2, in favor of the Scorpions. Sonoma reliever Jim Hart picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Zhi-gang Loong took the loss. With the win, Sonoma raised its record to 55-49.

Dave Pimenta, who leads the W-AA in RBI with 65, took St. Louis hurler Zhi-gang Loong deep in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run home run put the Scorpions on top, 3-1. In all, Pimenta had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
