Rob Stech was superb against Cincinnati. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the W-AA with a 1.26 WHIP, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Royals victory. The score was 6-0. The Royals now have a mark of 55-48.

Stech kept the Bombardiers under his thumb. He scattered 3 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 10. The right-hander upped his season record to 7-6.

"Rob was pumping the zone," said Cornwall manager Jon Williams.
