Miami Boll Weevils starter Mike Arnerich turned in an exceptional performance against the St. Louis Cavalry at Ballpark of Miami, resulting in a Miami win, 5-1. St. Louis has now lost 9 consecutive games.

Miami right fielder Chris Charney contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a curveball to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 6th hit of the season and put the Boll Weevils ahead, 4-1.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Arnerich told the Miami Observer.
