Chris Benson, who is tied for 2nd in the NC in wins with 8, was locked in. The right-hander led the Hollywood Stars to a 5-4 win against the Boston Whistlers at Whislters Park. The win gives Hollywood a season record of 42-32.

Tim Schellin dealt the Whistlers a blow in the top of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Hollywood leading 3-1, Schellin, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft, hit a 1-0 knuckle curve for a 2-run single.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Schellin.
