Trash Pandas 10-6 Winners Versus Detroit
The Toronto Trash Pandas defeated the Detroit Giants, 10-6, in part because of shortstop Jon Kenyon. Kenyon went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Trash Pandas. The Trash Pandas have an impressive 46-28 record.

Cory Bloodsaw had a big 2-run home run for the Trash Pandas in the top of the sixth inning. With Toronto leading 4-2 and a runner on 3rd, he sized up a fastball from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Phil White and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Trash Pandas on top, 6-2.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Bloodsaw.
