Justin Bellamy impressed in the 7-5 Dallas win over Daytona Beach. Bellamy, who finished 5th in the AC in batting average with .295 last year, went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Chris Casady claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4 innings. His record stands at 3-0. The Dragons have now won 4 straight.

Dallas took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Dave Jones hit a run-scoring single to make it 6-5, Dragons.
