The 23ers earned a hard-fought, 5-4 win in 11 innings at Fountain Park. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Maine pitcher Matt Graham. Graham went 8 innings and allowed 4 runs. The winner in relief was Stuart Taylor. He is now 2-4. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. With the win, the 23ers improved to 32-40.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 11th, 27-year old left fielder Kyle Stansberry had a chance to be the hero. Maine pitcher Nick Slover had other ideas. But with no outs, Stansberry hit a sacrifice fly. The 23ers had themselves a dramatic win.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Stansberry.
